al akmam in action =) @ 8:49 PM
Hi and assalamualaikum kamu~ =D just a short update.. today my team, al-akmam, performed for tausyeh quarter final at RTB. the results is not known yet.. because as far as we're told, there are at least fifty teams participating in this year's competition.. and only 10 teams are selected to the semi-final. 5 boy's teams and 5 girl's teams. so yea.. its a tough competition, we just hope that we will make it thru the semi and tarus to the final. amin amin yarabbal alamin. the result will be announced insya allah by next week. below is the video of us recorded during our turn performing =DWednesday, April 15, 2009

We went out yesterday to look for our exam halls... I'm not sure how kamu2 yang bukan di London punya exam... but kami... betaburan lah our exam locations...

Yes, from Liverpool Street to Regent's Park... betaburan banar jua lah... ada lagi exam hall for UCL di Bayswater... tapi kami inda kana lah...

Assalamualaikum~
Sorry for not updating this blog for quite sometime...i don't actually know what to update here...for now i would just give you guys a quick review on what i have been up to ever since i got back here in Dunedin...Firstly, this year we're no longer living @ Cumberland College...we're flatting this year...there are pros & cons...pros would be we can go in & out of the house @ whatever time, we can eat whatever we want since we now have our own kitchen. Cons would be...no more central heating, no more unlimited electricity. So far we've been coping (sp?) well with flatting...moving on to studies...ugh~~~i dunno...its definitely different from first year health science...2nd year pharmacy is like...i dunno....i won't say our time is packed through out the day & week because the 2nd year dentistry students have it worse than us...so...i dunno...but d pharmacist definitely get it worse when it comes to test...even the 2nd year medicine & dentistry students pity us (i think)...we've been having test ever since the first week of uni til the last week before mid-semester break which just started...speaking of which...this mid-semester break which started from 10th til 19th April is not actually much of fun...it's more like...'you-stil-have-work-and-readings-to-do-you-just-don't-attend-classes-and-labs' break kind of thing...get me? when uni reopens...i will be having 3 tests in the first week alone!!! The 3rd year pharmacy students were like 'oh what are you guys complaining...it's gonna be worse in third year coz there will be lots of reports to do' geez~not helping there....i'm not saying studying pharmacy is boring its just the test part i don't like...pharmacy is actually ok...it can be fun sometimes...i'm stil adapting to it...oh gosh! enough about studies already....moving on...i'm not going anywhere for this mid-semester break...i'm trying to save money....yea~after how much i spend on those perfume i certainly didn't do well in saving....on another note...d Brunei Student Association (BSA) was having this paintball thing this afternoon...it was fun...i was a bit paranoid @ first...not because of feeling the unknown pain of getting shot but of the embarassment if i was the first one to get shot..LOL! seriously...but after all that i end up not getting shot @ all....nice~though someone definitely tried...i stil don't know who that person was....LOL! i'm gonna do some work for the tests & lab next week then...i'm just gonna enjoy this weekend...i need to get my hands on my guitar...eversince uni starts it has been sitting there collecting dust...now is the time to learn & recreate those calluses...i think i'm gonna bake some cupcakes next week....oh yea! i made some new friends too =D since i'm the only bruneian in 2nd year pharmacy...have to make new friends...this girl her name is Sadia...she's living in NZ now but used to live in Brunei until she was in primary 6 i think...she was Cg Farid's neighbour!!! what a small world~i miss playing netball with you guys...my netball skills is getting rusty...i dont even remember the last time i played netball...sigh~oh look! my quick review turns out to be a long one...that's a sign for me to stop i guess...hope to see you guys soon...cya!

The next day (after Bamsa Nite), Bath juniors went to London (except c Lifah.. psl ia k Egypt. Bagi jeles ah?) to see the other Hakunas perform masa BCN. Menari saja kamu ani ah!!!! :P btw, I salute u guys. HANDAL kamu menari!! Very proud of u. =)))) I like yg kamu punya dance tin, yg seantaro dunia. ATU LAMBUT TANGAN KAMU!!! hahaha. Oh Oh OH... yg choir psl Sultan Bolkiah atu pun lawa jua.. =))
Anywaysssss.. I did manage to take some pictures of *ehem*ZIZI*ehem* and ehem*FATIN*..
and... ada AKI perform jua!!!

Long Overdue Updates from Nad (Part 1) @ 6:50 AM
The week before easter holiday was quite a hell. Ada coursework/groupwork, practical report mesti hand in and endless practice for bamsa nite. My part of my coursework ani supposed to be done by me & this other person.. balik2 ku email ia, nada jua d replynya. paksa tah ku buat sorg diri. lapas kami hand in, baru tah d buatnya.. talor!!! haha.. sounds mental? nada bah, i'm cool with it already :P
BAMSA nite was fun with capital F!! Walaupun balik2 complain psl ngalih & ambil time for "buat uni stuffs", in the end enjoy lah jua. I like it~ esp. the dikir barat part. Bamsa is Bath Area Malaysia & Singaporean Association, walaupun nada nama Brunei, it's actually a club for Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore & Indonesia. Basically, this club hold a BAMSA nite every year to show kami punya culture lah etc etc etc. This year, the drama was about Si Tanggang. Ada dancing, wayang kulit, dikir barat & choir in between atu jua lah. Guess who was in the drama??!! HEHEHE.. jgn marah lifah. :P

Plan kami inda menjadi hahaha LOL
cemani ceritanya.. initially we planned to have lunch at UBD 1pm. but since yumni last minute had something goin on and i myself pun ada last minute discussion, so yea inda jadi lah.. then tukar plan ke malam. farah cant make it, and ummi pun inda dapat~ so kami beranti tangah jalan hahahaha malas ku cerita sebenarnya hahaha d tangah jalan lah kami becerita and have small updating session.. (gila yummm rinduku ke-randomness-an mu atu !!!) hahahaha ~
haha literally beranti d jalan.. not dtangah lah ah labih2 jua tu hahaha dsiring.. rasa kan besila bhapa bah kan becerita.. hahaha inda cukup eh.. bah yum ahh next week~ ;)

After the success of Brunei Cultural Night, us MS-ians went to Nicky's place at Hampstead the next day. She invited for a small bbq gathering...
Kami main bula... and the swing.. hahahaa... and kami makan... and minum.. and liat Harry Potter.. AHAHAHAHAHH
The next day, I went to Thorpe Park with some ex-PGGMB-ians.. siuk jua lah... we went on the wet rides... oh and our first ride, called the vortex, was supposed to be a 'warm-up' ride.. but it was not so much a warm-up, it was kinda like the real extreme ride.. HAHAHAHA. Overall, worth it. Thank you kepada yang memajal atu... I almost didn't go btw.. cuz i was tired... and they pajal-ed me to go since i paid the ticket sudah.. and so i went.. inda nyasal.. hahahaha

no, we didn't naik the ride, cuz the waiting time was 60min =(
