Bye bye 2008~ Welcome 2009~ @ 10:48 PM

Time is ticking for sure....when I glanced the round-thing-with-twelve-numbers-around-it on my room's wall..its 10:50pm ryt now...(mind you- its according to Brunei time) so it means that there will be 1 hour and 10 minutes to go for a new life episode.....2009!

Time past so fast.....and I still can smell the air of early 2008 when we celebrated our very grand graduation ceremony...I still remember how all the brains were squeezed to spit out ideas for that particular day, all the last minute fantastic creations on the walls and arrangements.......I can feel the warmth of tears flowing when we officially graduated....'I believe I can fly' the song that touches me till now...the hugs and kisses of moms and dads gave to congrats us all....all these sign languages telling us 'from now on....its all about you...you decide....we support'

Personally 2008 means a lot to me....the reason wasnt really we graduated, we passed A Levels, we go unis and yada yada....well Im thankful for all these good things happened to me...and Im happy for evryone as well...=) However...there are more than just academic thingy.....its more to maturity that develops in each of us....which Im definitely sure with ; ) We've been thru another ups and downs this year...and definitely next year as well (which will be in few hours time hehe)

Here are the timeline for 2008 for the Hakunas and friends~ =))

January
(busy with graduation ceremony at school)
(busy with scholarship application)

March
(one of Hakunas flew to NZ to further study and was the first to experience uni life)
(some Hakunas got called by BSP to start their attachment in KB)

May
(the establishment of Hakunas blog)

June
(another group of hakunas got called by BSP for their attachment)
(Arif's depart to USA without Amni..sigh)
(some group of hakunas and friends got called by MOE for their scholarship to UK and OZ)

July
(one of our hakunas went thru to the final stage of HSBC Tri-Extreme Challenge)
(prize presentation at ICC for our friends who excelled in their A-Levels)
(some sakai bruneian specifically hakunas and friends went round Bandar during HMs Birthday festive before off UK and start uni)
(2 hakunas got called for UBD hehe with other friends)

August
(girls-day-out before we got separated)
(2 hakuna girls experienced uni life hehe)
(the UK-ians busy packing already)

September
(fasting month)
(the biggest goodbye of all...all depart to UK)
(UK-ians experience their uni life)

October
(UBD Convo Fiesta)
(Raya without proper convoy I should say...sigh)

November
(First hakuna girl to complete her first year in NZ and got back to Brunei)
(One more Hakunas and a friend changed 'status')
(Ubd-ians exam fever)

December
(UK-ians, NZ-ians, USA-ians and UBD-ians enjoying holiday)
(Arif and Amni see each other after few months...awww~ and its in UK...not USA or NZ..awww~)
(UK-ians exam fever??)
(me publishing the last post for 2008....grand finale~ LOL!)

There are so many directions and options for us in live...so choose wisely yea....the chance we have now may not come tomorrow... and hold whatever we have today tightly...be happy with what you got and what you dont because Im sure there's always reason/s for it to happen...till then...
