Since there's been no update, I thought I'd do one :)

Here's Brunei-York Society's performance during our International Student Association Cultural Performance. We were one of 18 countries performing. Ours is a medley between a Lela Menchanai drama/ballet, Seantero Dunia traditional dance, and If It Isn't With You modern dance.

The guys' choreography is a bit sparse, because, well, we didn't spend so much time on it :(

And I don't know if you can tell, but it's Ajeeratul playing the princess and I'm the Sultan

We also had an international food Fiesta later that week. That worked out really well. In fact, we got third place (out of 18)! This is super surprising because it's a public vote, and with us being a society consisting of less than 20 paid members, we were massive underdogs. But here's me accepting the award. Counting the number of OMGs in this video, you can tell we were not expecting this at all.

I don't know if you guys heard about this on the news or not, but we were experiencing eathquake here in New Zealand yesterday! The major earthquake hit Christchurch (about 6 hours by bus from my place, Dunedin). It was 7.1 Richter scale! Crazzzeeeyyyy! It was that strong that the shake spreads to Dunedin. Seriously! I was tebangun because of it! It was 4.35AM. My bed started to shake. I thought I was dreaming though! So I decided to go back to sleep after the gegaran habis. Handalkan??? But Alhamdulillah we're all ok, no damage in Dunedin. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing for Christchurh though. Building collapse, water supply cut off, cars being crushed by bricks from buildings. Alhamdulillah the Bruneians who are in Christchurch semua ok nda apa-apa. Just mess to clean up & stuff. Barang2 di dapur dorang pacah beguguran. She said their kitchen now smells like kicap & cuka. As long as their ok, Alhamdulillah. It's scary though come to think of it. I think it's a sign from Allah though which we need to figure out somehow. Bulan Ramadhan lagi kan. Christchurch experienced the tremor the whole day yesterday. Nasib nda spread ke Dunedin lagi. I need to be more alert next time this things happen lagi.
